About
Jotly uses texting style messages to manage your calendar. It uses natural language date/time parsing to create tasks and events. Some jot examples:
Assume all Jots are created on Wednesday June 1st, 2001
- Take out the trash
- This will create a task for today titled "Take out the trash"
- Pick up dry cleaning on Saturday
- This will create an event on Saturday June 4th titled "Pick up dry cleaning"
- Doctor's appointment Thursday at 8am
- This will create an event for Thursday June 2nd at 8am titled "Doctor's appointment"
As you may have noticed, if the Jot has a specific time, we consider that an event. If it doesn't have a specific time, it's a task.
