About

Jotly uses texting style messages to manage your calendar. It uses natural language date/time parsing to create tasks and events. Some jot examples:

Assume all Jots are created on Wednesday June 1st, 2001

  1. Take out the trash
  2. This will create a task for today titled "Take out the trash"
  3. Pick up dry cleaning on Saturday
  4. This will create an event on Saturday June 4th titled "Pick up dry cleaning"
  5. Doctor's appointment Thursday at 8am
  6. This will create an event for Thursday June 2nd at 8am titled "Doctor's appointment"

As you may have noticed, if the Jot has a specific time, we consider that an event. If it doesn't have a specific time, it's a task.
